[Original<\/strong>] Crimson Desert<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0features a lot of secret traversal and movement tech, such as a fast-travel trick based on the multiple playable characters system<\/strong> and the Aerial Stab skill<\/strong>, which makes exploring Pywel incredibly fun.<\/p>\n

However, none of these tricks are as fun and useful as a newly discovered Focus-Boost movement tech, <\/strong>a physics exploit <\/strong>that boosts your flight speed <\/strong>by combining <\/strong>Aerial Roll<\/strong> and Focused Insight<\/strong> to let you cross significant distances with minimal stamina drain.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The Focus-Boost Tech<\/h2>\n

    The community-named “Focus-Boost” advanced movement tech<\/strong> is based on three different skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Aerial Roll:<\/strong> One of the abilities you can learn in the Red portion of the skill tree<\/strong> (the one centered on Health<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
    2. Focus:<\/strong> Learned fairly early in the story.<\/li>\n
    3. Focused Insight:<\/strong> An additional ability learned once you reach Focus Level 3<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Both Aerial Roll and Focused Insight require Abyss Artifacts<\/strong> to learn.<\/p>\n

      By combining these three in a specific sequence<\/strong>, you get a massive boost in flight speed<\/strong>. When paired with the lower stamina consumption for Fligh<\/strong>t<\/strong> introduced in Patch 1.01.00<\/strong>, this tech makes it possible to quickly traverse massive distances across Pywel.<\/p>\n

      How to Use the Focus-Boost<\/h2>\n

      To execute this tech, you must follow this procedure:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Launch into the air<\/strong> by either jumping, double jumping or using Aerial Force Palm<\/strong> and activate Flight<\/strong> with the Square\/X<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
      2. Press R1+L1 to activate Focus<\/strong>. You will see the world slow down around you.<\/li>\n
      3. Press Circle\/<\/strong>B to activate Aerial Roll<\/strong>. Time will continue to be slowed during this animation.<\/li>\n
      4. As soon as the Aerial Roll animation completes<\/strong>, press the R1\/RB<\/strong> button to activate Insight<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The final input will propel you forward at a significantly greater speed than a standard glide.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Why It\u2019s Worth Learning<\/h2>\n

        While using this secret movement tech is not required to complete the game, it makes exploring Pywel much more fun<\/strong>. By combining it with other traversal skills, such as\u00a0Aerial Maneuver and Aerial Swing,<\/strong>\u00a0and having\u00a0very high Stamina<\/strong>, you can reach all sorts of remote locations with ease, such as the summit of the\u00a0Root’s End Ruins<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0farm Abyss Gear.<\/strong><\/p>\n
